Is there parking at your venue?
Yes! Plenty of parking for both events held at the resort if you choose to drive yourselves.
Will there be transportation provided?
Yes! For those staying in certain hotel locations on the island, and downtown we will have trolleys available to shuttle guests. We will have a final schedule and time for these pick up locations closer to the wedding date. Stay tuned!
Is your wedding outside?
Yes! All events will be held outside.
No Children!
We love your children, but we ask that this be an adults-only celebration. Please make childcare arrangements ahead of time—thank you for understanding.

If you’re not staying at Longboat Key Resort, please book your accommodations early—late September is a popular time on Longboat Key and nearby hotels and rentals fill up quickly.
Do I need to rent a car?
If you are staying at Long Boat Key Resort, you will not need to rent a car to attend the Popple/Giaimo events. Rideshares (Uber/Lyft) are readily available to and from Sarasota Airport. If you plan to explore beyond Longboat Key Resort or visit nearby towns at your own pace, we recommend renting a car or golf cart.
TRAFFIC!
If you’re staying at Longboat Key Resort, you shouldn’t have traffic concerns. Guests traveling from Anna Maria Island, Siesta Key, Bradenton, or nearby towns should plan to leave at least one hour earlier than usual—beach and bridge traffic can add significant delays on sunny days. Longboat Key has two main bridge access points (the northern bridge from the Bradenton beaches and the Ringling Causeway from downtown Sarasota/Lido Key), so congestion is common; please allow extra travel time to avoid missing the ceremony or cocktail hour. If you’re staying elsewhere on Longboat Key, arrange rideshares in advance—drivers frequently come from the mainland, which can increase wait times even for nearby properties.
